When the San Diego court implemented a phone research line, the hope was that it would allow screeners and researchers to obtain case information without going to court. Given that the line is open for just 3 hours a day, callers frequently can’t get through and if they do, the court’s strict policy of limiting the number of cases researched per call to just 3-5, researchers and screeners that use the phone line as their primary research method frequently experience severe backlogs and delays.
In person court research is still the best option to ensure the most gets done in the shortest time possible.
Our in-house research team conducts daily in-person court research and document retrieval at multiple court locations. As the largest criminal research team in San Diego, we leverage our team size, in-depth knowledge of the court system, and amiable working relationship with the clerks to quickly and dependably deliver the information you need when you need it.
